I am absolutely in love with this new collab kit, You Lift Me Up, by Connie Prince and River Rose. The colors are gorgeous and the papers, elements, predeco papers... all just blow me away. Can you tell how much I love this kit! Here are the pieces:

Here's a page I made with it. I just LOVE the skewed plaid paper and the bright colors! I also used a template from Set #55 by Cindy Schneider. Love her templates!!

Adoption Day Kit

Trixie Scraps has released a gorgeous new kit called Adoption Day. Perfect for scrapping your adoption related pages and perfect for so much more! It has plenty of generic elements and wordart that would be suitable for baby pages, family stories, heritage photos, Spring layouts and more! It is currently available only at Funky Playground Designs but will soon be available in all her stores. Here are previews of the full kit as well as just the elements and papers:

My Dad has a closet full of plaid shirts and I LOVE to use plaid papers in my layouts so this was a perfect combo! I love the browns and blues!! I used a template from Trixie Scraps Puddle Jumpers set and a wordart from Elegant Wordart By Bethany.

Guest CT with Trixie Scraps

I have some exciting news to share! So I was sitting at my computer a week ago Friday night checking my email and I see one from Tracy at Trixie Scraps that says "Congratulations." I opened it up and I was one of the winners from her Facebook contest and won a 3 month guest spot on her Creative Team (CT)!! Woohoo!!!! So, in the past week I have been busy making my way around her team site and becoming familiar with the other ladies on her team! It's nice to see some familiar faces along with making new friends! Scouting Kits

Connie Prince Designs and Trixie Scraps have teamed up again under the North Meets South Studios name to bring us two fantastic kits this week - Scouting is for Girls and Scouting is for Boys.

These kits are both so versatile! The first layout was done with Scouting is for Girls. I just love that plaid paper!! The bottom one is with Scouting is for Boys. Love the wonderful boy colors! The Pinewood Derby wordart is part of a pack releasing on April 8 so be sure to check back into the stores then for sets to go with both kits.
