Woohoo! How do you like my new blog design? I'm excited to be sporting some a new winter theme courtesy of Connie Prince Designs! It's called Winter Days, and you can pick it up for yourself in her store at Gotta Pixel. I've been busy this month working on Christmas pages. Make the Time Kit by Connie Prince

It's Gotta Grab It time at Gotta Pixel! If you're not familiar with GGI, the designers are given a color swatch and then design away with whatever theme they wish. You can pick up all kinds of paper and element packs for $1 each for just a few days and they'll all go together, colorwise. Once GGI ends, most of the individual packs get grouped into kits, but they aren't $1 anymore, so shop this weekend!! Following are Connie Prince's contributions to Gotta Grab It:

One of the labels in this kit inspired this page. I used one of the predecorated papers and templates as well as papers and elements from Make the Time. Don't you just love those old Olan Mills pics from your childhood?

Topsy Turvy Fun Freebie

Although I can't use most templates with my program, I can usually recreate them, and I'm starting to really like them! Scrapping With Liz had a fun freebie challenge last week on her blog. She gave away one of the templates from one of her sets and we had to use only the pieces on it, but move them around some and come up with something new. Here's the original template:
