Summer is full of so many exciting opportunities, and I was so glad to find an awesome Groupon deal on a local day camp! Trixie Scraps' Great Wilderness Lodge kit was perfect for the pictures I got.
With a name like 100 Days of Happy, the new kit by Trixie Scraps and Connie Prince is definitely a must have! The bright colors and fun elements have made this a kit I'm going to be able to use for sooo many layouts! Speaking of which.......
You can grab this kit now at Gingerscraps. Just click on the preview:
It's on sale for a limited time at a fantastic price so get your happy on today!
We just wrapped up our first time at vacation bible school, and I knew I had the perfect kit for my pics!! North Meets South Studios' Vacation Bible School kit and Trixie Scraps' Seeing Double Volume 13 template set helped me put this two page spread together.
If you've got plans to attend VBS this summer, this is a great kit to have in your scrap stash!
I've been trying to get caught up on my scrapping, but let's face it. It's never going to happen! In any case, I did get my niece's birthday from LAST year wrapped up this week!
Trixie Scraps' It's Her birthday kit, cardstock, plaids, bonus papers and bonus alphas and Stamper's Block template set helped me get this project done.
Now that Spring has finally arrived, it's time for bike riding! We got out for out first ride last month and ended up getting rained on at the end. Oh well, we had fun!
I'm hooked on using that Blue Jean boy kit this week! Trixie Scraps has an awesome freebie template on the blog this week. I used it to make this page:
I can't get enough template freebies! Make sure to swing by the blog and download it!
Where has the year gone so far? Wow, I can't believe it's past the halfway point in March already!! I haven't been as productive as I'd like but I've put a few more layouts together.
I put this layout together for a challenge over at GingerScraps using Trixie Scraps' Bratitude Collection.
And I used another set in the March Templatetopia pack for this page:
Don't forget to grab that templatetopia set before it gets broken into individual packs and the price goes up!!
It's my favorite time of the month - templatetopia release!!! Trixie Scraps and Connie Prince have teamed up for another varied and fabulous pack of 16 templates for only $3.99!!!!!
I used the Banner Day pack for this layout of me and one of my longtime, closest friends.
There are so many cool templates in this collection this month. It's only $3.99 for a few weeks though, so don't miss out!
I found these pics of my oldest helping make Christmas cookies a few years ago and started hunting thru my scrap stash for a good baking kit. I found one with the perfect colors in it!
Trixie Scraps' Master Chef kit had the PERFECT colors!!
I've got lots more Christmas baking pics to scrap so I'm so glad I remembered this kit!
I think winter just may never end here in Michigan. I was looking through my winter scrapbooking kits and came across this old favorite - Frosted Windowpanes by Trixie Scraps.
Isn't it so pretty??! I love the color combination! I had some pictures from winter in 2012 I needed to scrap and this was just perfect! I also used the matching cardstock and plaid papers.
If you're tired of winter, maybe this pretty kit will help you make it through!
I have to admit that I have not had a great deal of motivation so far this year for scrapping. I don't know if I'm just decompressing from the holidays or worn out from all this snow this winter! One thing that does help me get moving is a good template, though! I love these Layer Lovers templates by Trixie Scraps. It was such a breeze to put this page together! I also used her kit called New Kid in Class. The colors were just what I was looking for.
You can grab both the templates and the kit in the Trixie Scraps store and get your mojo flowing!
In my never ending quest to 'catch up', I pulled out one of my favorite Christmas kits this week - My Shelf Elf by North Meets South Studios - to do some scrapping about the adventures of our Elf on The Shelf.
I just love the patterns in this kit and the traditional Christmas green and red. I'm getting close to having 2012 elf adventures done and then it's on to 2013!
I tend to be kind of a theme oriented scrapper but sometimes the colors in a kit just go so perfectly with my photos that I don't need to match up a 'themey kit.' I love this kit that Trixie Scraps released this month called Best Year Ever.
I love the warm colors and paint splatters in this kit. It's so versatile for all kinds of photos!
Now that Christmas is done, I've had a little time to get some scrapping done again. We've had a cold, snowy December, and I had the perfect kit to use for our chilly adventure out to our town's Santa Parade earlier this month.
I used Trixie Scraps' Presents Everywhere kit, cardstock and glitter papers. Aren't the colors a perfect match?!
I love the colors of this kit and how it's so versatile for all things Christmas-y!
I came across these pics of my little guy recently and knew what kit I had to use! Remembering You by Trixie Scraps. All the blues and the perfect elements!
I love the plaids and embossed cardstock in this collection, too!
If you don't follow the Trixie Scraps blog, I'm inviting you now to check it out! There are new kit announcements, freebies, and some fun challenges. I'm today's challenge poster, so I'm extra excited for you to check it out! Today's challenge is pretty easy and here's my finished page:

Welcome to my blog! I am mom to two great little boys who pretty much are featured in all my layouts. Besides being a busy mom, I love scrapbooking. I started digital scrapbooking in the spring of 2008 and was hooked right away. I am constantly amazed at the talented designers out there and love to find a fab kit, great sale or freebie! I am blessed to be able to work with some of the best designers out there, in my opinion, and love to show off their work as well as mine. :)
