Layout of the Month Nomination at Stuff to Scrap

After my last post, I was heading off to The Shack for a scrapbooking weekend. What a fabulous time!! I got to spend an entire weekend with a dear friend, enjoy banana splits every night, and get some scrapping done. This is one of the pages I got done from a hike the boys and I enjoyed on a beautiful fall day:


I uploaded it to my gallery at Stuff to Scrap (one of the places you can buy the Time For Fall kit by Just So Scrappy that I used to make this page) and this week it was nominated for Layout of the Month!! Woohoo! This month has had its share of trying moments and this has really made my week!! There are several other beautiful pages nominated as well so there's definitely some stiff competition. The designers vote over the next few days and the results will be announced on the 2nd, so we'll see. This sounds cliche, but really, it's an honor just to be nominated!!!! In the meantime, I'm looking forward to all the big deals to come this weekend at the scrapping sites for National Scrapbooking Day.

Layout of the Day at Gotta Pixel

I am so excited!!! My layout was selected Layout of the Day at Gotta Pixel!! I just started posting layouts this month to the various galleries at the websites where I shop. I get SOOO much inspiration from looking thru these galleries and am just so psyched that someone really liked MY work!! Here's the layout:


I used the Loveable kit by Isabel Mendez and it's on sale this week for just $1! I'm off to do the happy dance around my living room some more now! I used a template downloaded from Creative Memories.

Lost

I admit it. I am a Lost addict. Tonight is right about the 1/2 way mark of the final season, and I'm both excited and sad. So many questions have been answered so far, so I can't wait to see what we learn tonight!

Dance Night

So, it's Monday night and time for Dancing With the Stars. Besides scrapping, I do enjoy a little TV. ;) I've been hunting for a gender neutral dancing kit to use for my son's tap dancing, but so far, no luck. There are LOTS of cute girly ballerina kits out there, though. I did a search at Sweet Shoppe Designs and found some cute dance kits from little girls to tweens all the way up to a Ladies Night theme. If you click on this posts' title above, you'll see what I found.
As for Dancing With the Stars, I'm still trying to decide who I'm rooting for. I definitely have a soft spot for Niecy and Louis. I just love Niecy. I love Maks, too. LOL. Well, Niecy is on, so time to sign off...........
